Timber Cabinets

We produce kitchens in many different timber types. If you prefer a modern shaker-style kitchen, we may use a veneered MDF panel. If you require a pippy look, we will use solid timber. If your kitchen cabinets are painted, the preferred timber would be American tulip wood due to its dry stable qualities, although on some occasions we may use ash or oak if you wish to see the grain texture with the paint finish.

All the internal cabinets are constructed the same way; you have a choice for the interior of veneered oak, walnut or cherry MDF. Rest assured this is high-quality 19mm wood veneered board. Using veneered board on the interior cabinets helps keep them free of cracks and shrinkage, helping the front frames and doors to remain aligned. They are also easy to clean and maintain.

Complete Bespoke Construction

All cabinets come with adjustable shelves, handles of your choice and high-quality matching butt hinges and magnetic door catches. We use grass easy glide self/soft-close runners and high-quality magic corners and metal racking where required. We make all our timber cutlery trays, knife boards, draw dividers/racking and door racks. This allows us to make them in any size you may require.

There are many reasons we construct our kitchens in the way we do, so please feel free to discuss your personal requirements with our technical designer/advisor James Bates, who will be happy to help!
